Tragically died as the result of injuries sustained in a road traffic accident on 25/6/03. These injuries should have been treated, but Nick was left waiting for an operation to set his broken pelvis. He never got the operation, and died 13 pain filled days later of a deep vein thrombosis. His operation was sheduled for the next day.
Over 5 years on, I try to get on with my life, and be a good nanna to his little girl - but I am still angry that he did not receive the treatment he needed in time to save his life.
I am so proud to have been his mum, and thank God for giving him to me - if only for 36 years. xxx
